Our proprietor, Kate Solari Baker, fondly recalls that her mother, Polly Solari, refused to let her husband, Larry, remove the old vines in front of her kitchen windows because they provided privacy and a beautiful view. Larry begrudgingly abided by Polly's wish even though he knew the land could be better utilized if planted to more profitable varieties. As a tribute to her mother's wise request, a painting of Polly (by her daughter Kate) adorns the bottle and reminds us each summer of the tranquility and beauty of our historic property.<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n <\/tbody>\n <\/table>\n \n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n\n\n
