Our beautiful taonga \nPohutukawa tree (which stands proudly in the centre of our kindergarten) is in full bloom and the flowers have blanketed our playground, turning everything whero \u2665\ufe0f. \nPohutukawa trees are known as an iconic kiwi Christmas trees which often feature on greeting cards and in songs. \nOur taonga tree was planted by Harriette Vine herself and is over 100 years old \ud83e\udd70 PS…only 10 sleeps till Christmas \ud83c\udf85\ud83c\udf81\ud83c\udf84<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n <\/tbody>\n <\/table>\n \n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n\n\n

Message:<\/td>\n Today we held our End of Year Celebration and what a celebration it was!\ud83c\udf66\ud83e\udd13 \ud83c\udff0\nOur tamariki enjoyed jumping on the Bouncy Castle for the morning with an Ice Block stop in between bounces. After kai we had the wonderful \u201cIce Queen\u201d come to Kindergarten for us to enjoy a delicious Ice Cream each \ud83c\udf68\ud83d\ude0b \nTo complete our day, we had Santa arrive \ud83c\udf85\ud83c\udffb Santa and his helpers (Kaiako Debs and Kylie) then gave out little gifts to our tamariki. \nNg\u0101 mihi to our wonderful wh\u0101nau who supported us to make today happen.
