Message:<\/td>\n No oranges, peaches or apples here. These ladies are holding the first Chardonnay grapes of the vintage. Harvest 2021 began early this morning in the coldest, darkest hours of the night at Martinelli Vineyards. This is the first year that we have purchased grapes from the respected Martinelli family, and Maggie and Dana are thrilled with the quality of the fruit. Although these grapes are grown in the same vineyard, they are two different Dijon clones\u201495 and 76\u2013planted side-by-side. Maggie loves clone 95 for its texture and the richness it brings to the mid-palate in Jordan Chardonnay, and clone 76 is her go-to for the citrus and lemon notes in our singular white wine. She\u2019s thrilled to see how the juice from these clones evolves when they come from the same vineyard. Separating Chardonnay clones by vineyard and bringing in grapes from new vineyards (closer to the coast) are just two of the ways that Maggie, Dana, Kari and the team are working to elevate Jordan Chardonnay quality to even higher levels in 2021 and beyond. #Harvest2021<\/td>\n <\/tr>\n <\/tbody>\n <\/table>\n \n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n\n\n
